WhatsApp Makes Channel Sharing Easier with QR Codes

WhatsApp is introducing a new feature that enhances the way users share content. Now, you can add custom messages when forwarding any type of content, including links, images, text messages, and documents. This feature is currently being tested with some beta users on WhatsApp Android beta version 2.24.25.3, and it will be rolled out to more users in the coming weeks.

Previously, users could only add messages when forwarding media like photos, videos, or GIFs. With this update, WhatsApp expands this capability, allowing you to add a message when forwarding any type of content. This makes sharing easier and helps provide additional context or explanation.

For example, when you forward a link to a news article, you can now include your thoughts or a summary directly with the link. Similarly, if you forward a text message, you can add personal comments or clarify the intent of the message.

This new feature is currently available for those in the WhatsApp beta program and will be more widely available after further testing.
